The curious case of flight and two opposing theories of aerodynamics

Lift is offered as the reason birds have been flying for aeons and aeroplanes for a little over 100 years. Newtonian and Bernouilli theory attempt to explain this phenomenon from the perspective of action and reaction  – air mass and equal and opposite force; & air speeds and pressure on air foil – above and below the curved wing of a plane.
