Brycoal made from plant waste, viz: husk from rice, sugarcane and maize cob. The briquettes gotten from solar powered indigenous technology from 3 students is sold a substitute to charcoal. The goal of the young entrepreneurs is to eliminate deforestation and erosion which results from felling trees used for firewood and charcoal by farmers and a large chunk of people who do not have access to gas or electricity for cooking, heating water or for other related household chores.
