Who is the smartest in the DC and Marvel Comic Universe ?

1. Reed Richards for his mastery of electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineering, electronics, chemistry, all levels of physics, and human and alien biology. He is a genius in every science native to Earth and in several other highly advanced alien civilizations in the known universe which is what places him above Hank Pym.
2. Hank Pym has expertise in biochemistry and numerous scientific fields such as subatomic physics, robotics, cybernetics, programming, emergency medicine, optics and entomology. The guy created Ultron and most of the Avenger’s equipment. He comes in as a very close second to Reed Richards and was even regarded by the entity Eternity as the Earth’s “Scientist Supreme” which places him above Lex Luthor.
3. Lex Luthor has nearly unrivaled intellect on Earth with a myriad of masters and degrees. He can solve complicated equations in minutes, has found cures for diseases in deep thought, and found ways to better mankind while still profiting from its destruction. His intellect also extends into business management, political science, leadership, and other sciences which places him above Bruce Banner.
4. Bruce Banner is a genius in nuclear physics, engineering, and biology. He has a mind so brilliant it is said that it cannot be measured by any known intelligent test. I would suspect that if he did not have to actively deal with his “Hulk” problem and were left to his studies he could eventually exceed everyone on the list.
5. Doctor Doom uses intellect as a weapon. His expertise is in physics, robotics, cybernetics, genetics, weapons technology, biochemistry, and time travel. He has constructed countless complex devices, cured Ben Grimm from his Thing form, invented a working time machine, and created exact mechanical replicas of himself (Doombots). These Doombots have such advanced A.I. that each one believes itself to be the real Doom, but has a dampener that is triggered when the real Doom is nearby which places him above Tony Stark.
6. Tony Stark is a mechanical engineering prodigy who was classed as a super-genius at number five on the top smartest people on Earth. He is a “futurist” who has even been able to hack Kree technology, a race centuries more advanced than humans. He is the world’s best multitasker, able to operate three portions of his consciousness at the same time which places him above T’Challa.
7. T’Challa has an eidetic (photographic) memory and is a polymath genius ranked in the the top eight smartest people on Earth. His PhD in physics is from Oxford University. He combined alchemy with science to create a new scientific field called Shadow Physics that allows him to track Vibranium on a quantum level, craft weapons which would be particularly effective against Vibranium, and create an unstable but working teleportation device which places him above Bruce Wayne.
8. Bruce Wayne is the world’s greatest detective, a polymath with an eidetic memory, and expertise in aviation, business management, criminology, and escapology. His college minor was in psychology. A great portion of his knowledge also lies in his expertise in various Martial Arts. He is a world-class tactician and strategist with Genius-Level Intellect, however I am unable to find anything official qualifying him as a “Super-Genius” and therefore he is ranked last on this list below T’Challa.
