This is cultural appropriation and intellectual property rights infringement in tooth, claws and blood. The #EndSARS protest was a metaphor for change. A movement that began with an outcry against police brutality and ultimately bad governance and corruption in Nigeria. Trish Lorenz was in no way associated with the movement in October 2020, neither via Twitter nor blog posts, yet in 2022 she claimed credit for christening the movement.
