Brillant, groundbreaking stuff. A fresh and simple way of solving the energy crisis and managing a mixed grid of alternative energy sources (wind and solar) to avoid collapse at different seasons (especially winter). Two young Finnish researchers seem to have come up with a working, viable and commercial “sand battery”.
