The last 800m to 1km stretch of road to my house in the Capital City is a sordid dirt road orphaned and abandoned by successive governments in the last 10 to 15 yrs. Perhaps even longer if one cared to inquire or investigate. The road like a raging wavy murky red river riddled with potholes curvi-meanders spreadeagle and fractured beneath the jealous Sun. Confronting and forcing each driver into a bout of nerves as they make to cross this modern day parody of the biblical red sea. – alex Feb. 2019
